Overview

When Launcher on the provisioned machine is slow to start you might see confusing provisioning statuses. "Missing license", then "Never Provisioned", and sometimes "Provisioning timed out".

Solution

A newly connected launcher initially has no license. It is allocated to it by the Management Server as part of the initial provisioning.

The status should change after a few minutes. If it does not then there might be other issues, like the machine where Launcher is starting up is too slow, or there is a provision time-out, a missing license issue, or you might have very large Export profiles.

If the status does not change in a few minutes and you are not able to identify the root cause, we recommend contacting our Support Team.
